Books for Babies

Bimage7ooks for BC Babies is an early literacy and parenting resource that influences the experiences that BC’s newborns have in the environment in which they grow, live and learn.  This program is funded jointly by the Kootenay Library Federation and the North East Library Federation.

If you have a newborn, we encourage you to come into the library to receive a free gift bag.  We have a board book, CD, book bag and several other resources (thanks to School District 60) to give to you and your new little bundle of joy.  By starting young; life long learning and literacy is being promoted.
