Membership
Membership is free to residents of Hudson’s Hope and District. Library cards may be used at one of the seven members of the North East Library Federation. Proof of residency is required.
Members of other BC libraries can register to borrow at this library too.
- Sitka Evergreen libraries are interconnected and can register easily with your physical card.
- Non-Sitka libraries can register through the BC OneCard provincial program.
Non-residents who aren’t eligible for a BC OneCard can obtain a temporary library card for $20.00, which will be returned to the temporary card holder once all of their loans and/or fines have been paid.
Responsibilities
You are responsible for all the materials borrowed on your card and for any charges on items that are overdue, lost or damaged. (See Loan Periods and Fines for details).
Lost or stolen cards
If you lose your library card, you are responsible for any items checked out on your card. You must report it as lost immediately and we will block the card so that no one can use it. There may be a small charge to replace a lost card.
Change of address
It is important for us to have your current information. If you change your address or other personal information, contact the library and we’ll update your record.
